How Launch and Use Quick Assist (IT Support Tool)

Quick Assist tool allows an Ursuline College IT Technician to remote into your computer to assist you in real time. This tool is only available to Windows 10 users.

  1. Click on the 'Start' button once.
  2. Type 'Quick Assist'.
  3. An icon for 'Quick Assist' app should show in the results.
  4. Launch the 'Quick Assist' app.

  1. The technician you are working with will give you a code. Enter the code and click on 'Share Screen'.

  1. Shortly after you click on Share Screen, you will be connected with the technician.
  2. The technician will need to request access to view/control your screen. Please see screen shot below as an example.
  3. Please read the 'Share your screen' window and make sure the name listed belongs to one of our Ursuline College technicians.
  4. Click 'Allow'.
